It is for us to go about our work, making certain that underlying everything we do in the course of a day is a settled faith in God, in His existence, personality, and attributes. This faith will give us the power to work righteousness. Marjorie Pay Hinckley
If I am in the line of my duty, I am doing the will of God, whether I am preaching; praying; laboring with my hands for an honorable support; whether I am in the field, mechanic’s shop, or following mercantile business, or wherever duty calls. I am serving God as much in one place as another; and so it is with all, each in his place, turn and time.

We have always tried to teach our family to work hard with and for each other, and for ourselves and others around us. Around a farm there is always plenty of work to do, fencing, moving pipe, hauling hay, tilling, sowing, harvesting, calving, feeding the stock. besides that we have always had a large garden, raspberries and strawberries to pick and put up. we've had a large lawn with many flower beds. we have taught our kids to feed themselves, care for what they have and beautify their homes as best as they can. They have found spouses who are willing to work with them and for them. And for that I am grateful.
When I read this thought from my book written by Sister Hinckley. I just wanted to share it.I believe it is an honor to work, to be able to have the ability to put forth honest effort in behalf of our selves and others,it is a noble attribute. I am proud of my children; for their willingness to work for their families, for each other and their dad and I. They and their children are our greatest attributes.
I need followers. Please follow my blog. I would appreciate it. Thanks and God bless you.
