Ben & Samantha’s Wedding December 20th 2011. Still catching up on December 2011.

Benjamin and Samantha chose December 20th for their wedding day. It was a cold cold day but it was warm and peaceful inside the Temple. We arrived at the Temple at 10.30 am and they both took out their endowments and then they were sealed for Time and all Eternity. It was a very nice endowment session and the sealer just happened to be JaLaine’s ( Barry’s mom) cousins husband, brother Bagley. He did a wonderful job and I know that Bens grandparents were there in spirit to be with him on their special day. As a side note, I had several family history names who also took out their endowments that day with the help of the family members  who attended the Temple that day. Ben and Sam share their day with several of my ancestors whose names we took to the Temple that day.  Notice the cape that Sam is warring, Stacy made it and Sam’s dad paid for it. it was beautiful. Sam and I created her veil. And Sam, her sister Kim and I created the feather bouquets.

The photos were taken by myself and Chet. And after  we finished taking photo we went to a church that Stacy got for us and had a wedding dinner with Sam’s family.

The Kids decided to wait until January 6th 2012 to have their reception but I am going to put the photos of the reception here. For the reception we ( Sam, Kim, Sam’s mom, and I) created the centerpieces Sam’s aunt Lisa put together the backdrop it was a collaboration of my mind and Lisa and Stacy and Alice’s and Kim and who ever else worked on it. I decorated the cake with Alice’s help, I would have never gotten it done without her. Stacy provided the cookies for the reception, Amy and Samantha made the sweet breads. I bought the pirouette cookies and the hot chocolate. we also served water with lemons and limes  floating in it for those who didn’t want hot chocolate.  All of Bens nieces were the flower girls, Sam’s sister Kim was the Matron on Honor, and Bens brother Mathew was the groomsmen. All in all it came together and was a very nice evening

Amy had the idea to replicate a photo I did when she got married just to see how things have changed. and here is the comparison. Time fly’s when your having fun.

Catching up December 2011, Taking Clayton to Primary Children’s Hospital, Ward Christmas Party, Paytin goes to the Dr. at Primary Children's Hospital,

Lets see, On the 5th of December I drove down and picked up Stacy and Clayton and Kaleb and we went to Salt Lake, we actually went to Saratoga Springs and stayed with Amy and David for two days. Clayton had Dr’s appointments on the 6th and the 7th and my car gets better gas mileage than Chet and Stay’s does so I am glad to drive them down there. Any way the Dr appointments went well and Clayton is doing just fine. Then on the 7th I drove Stacy back to Logan and dropped her off at her grandmas so she could go through the temple with her little brother Dustin Ashby. I took the boys home and picked up Justin and watched them for her until Chet got home form work.  I spent the night with them and then I headed back down to Salt Lake because Jared and Sativa’s baby Paytin had a eye appointment with the eye Dr to get a exact diagnoses for why she couldn’t see properly. We learned that she was not totally blind as the Dr in Pocatello had told us and that she had Albinism which they could help a lot with Glasses and Therapy. That was great news.  Then  I had told Amy and David that I would stay with their kids and run Madison to her violin lessons that night as they had a work Christmas party they needed to go to.  While I was waiting for Madison to finish with her lessons. Katie watched Isaac and Jenna and I went and took some photos of the lake. It is beautiful at night with all the lights shinning across the lake.

After we picked up Madison, we had dinner and watched a movie until it was time for the kids to go to bed. Then to keep myself entertained I started taking pictures around Amy's house.

The next day I got up and headed home. I had a Ward Christmas party to get ready to take pictures at and help decorate the church. I have recently been called as the second counselor in the Primary and we were in charge of the Christmas party. It was a fun party and our president Tiffany Unsworth wrote a awesome Nativity play for the primary to put on. The theme   was Picture a Christmas. I wasn’t around much to help with the costumes and such but I did come up with the center pieces for the tables and the invitations and the posters to advertise.

Catching up November 2011, a Baptism a Blessing and Thanksgiving.

So in November we were busy making wedding plans for Ben and Samantha. But there were some very exciting days for us besides making wedding plans and besides Thanksgiving. On the 5th on November Jenna Saville, Amy and David’s youngest daughter was baptized and confirmed. That was a great day. Jenna was so happy to be baptized.  We had a family dinner at the church house in Pocatello afterwards for her. She was baptized in Pocatello and not in Saratoga Springs.Utah because they had just moved down there and Jenna wanted to be baptized with her friends in Pocatello. So they came back up for the baptism.

The next day on the 6th of November was Paytin’s , Jared and Sativa’s baby girls blessing day. What a blessing for our family to have both girls special day on the same weekend. Paytin was blessed by her grandpa Egley with her uncle Chet, and uncle David, and uncle Ben and a family friend Dean Ware and the bishop brick standing in. she was told in the blessing that she was a special daughter of God and she came to this earth perfect and just the way Heavenly Father wanted her to. The blessing said she had a great mission to do and that she would be able to accomplish what she chose to and what she needed to accomplish with her Heavenly Fathers help. It said she would be a blessing to her parents and those who came in contact with her. What a special blessing it was. especially since we have been worried about her eye sight. We found out that Paytin has Albinism which means she is missing some of the pigment in the back of her eyes that help her see. Since the blessing we have found out that she will have to were glasses and some therapy to help her. but that's ok because the original  Dr. said she was just blind and would never see.

After Paytin’s blessing we all came home and Camille and Dean Bytendorp came up and we had a dinner in honor of Paytin and her special day. Then we went outside and took family pictures. It was a cold cold day to be taking pictures but we managed it. Here are the pictures that we took.

For Thanksgiving we had our family dinner the day after Thanksgiving and to tell the truth, these past few months have been such a blur that I really don’t remember what we did. I know we had a dinner but that’s about it.

Precious moments missed.

My fall and winter so far have been extremely busy.  Thus I neglected to enter a very important addition to our family. It seams I’ve had little time to set and add to my blog these days. So to rectify this error I am adding it in now.

On October 3rd 2011 we had a very important addition to our family.    Kaleb Bryce Egley was born to Chet and Stacy's family. His weight was 7lb,15oz and was 20” long. he is an adorable boy with lots of smiles. Here are some of his birth pictures

Coming home pictures

and then on December 18th Kaleb was blessed. Chet and Stacy waited until the 18 of December so that both of his uncles, Dustin Ashby and Ben Egley could both be there, Ben had  come home from his basic training in October and that was the first day he had that he could be there and Dustin was just getting ready to leave for his mission to Oklahoma.

We are so glad to have this precious spirit added to our family.

Had a great visit with my Matt & Alice today and played with our little Bryan. Jared came and check in on me and I got to visit with our Audrina and got hugs from her. (Nothing better than loves from grandkids). Mett Ben and Sam at Brady's Plant ranch and got the wedding flowers oredered and they will be beautiful. Alice took all the prep stuff for the Wedding dinner home with her to make and finish up, because she and Matt and Jared and Sativa are setting it up for me. Stacy has a very special part of the Brides outfit made and I am so excited to see it ( A Cape for Sam to ware while she's outside). This wedding is coming together. I am so thankful for my kids who step in and do what ever I need them to do. Oh and Amy has picked up ties gotten flower girl dresses and has called me every day to check on my sanity. Yesterday I was able to take Ben and get all his temple clothes and get him a suit at JCPennys. Had a nice lunch with him as well.
Afterwards A very talented lady and friend colored and cut my hair, Thank you Melinda.
Afterward. I was able to do some Santa shopping for my dear sister who is unable to get it done. On the way home I stopped and dropped off the Santa Stuff and Visited with Marilyenn and David and their family. The family is hanging in there and being very stong. Marilyenn is a very stong women for her family concidering every day her sweet husband is slipping away to go on to the next world. We will miss Dave a great deal. With all the things that are going on right now. I am so thankful for my kids who keep a close eye on me and help when ever they can. I have a awesome family, and friends.

Blessed

So for the last month or so i have not been feeling well, I have had strep throat, and sinus infection, at least that's what the Dr thinks has been going on. besides the fact that I have not been sleeping because my mind wont shut down. my head hits the pillow and my brain goes into high gear. I have been stressed out with wedding arrangements for Ben and Sam, you know a mother always worries about every little detail at least I do. and I am sad because we are losing my dear brother in law David Miles who is dyeing of colon cancer and liver cancer, and his time is becoming very short. etc etc etc. But then on the way home from town today I was listening to a favorite CD and the first song that came on was one with the lyrics that went like this.( I am blessed, every day of my life I am blessed. All I need he's given me, I am blessed. There's no doubt Heaven watches ...over me there's no doubt, through thick and thin I trust in him there's no doubt. I'll be faithful, I'll be faithful, faithful as the rising sun and steady northern star, constant and true to his name, like an ocean wave pushing through until it reaches shore, day after day I will remain, faithful. and so on.) And I started thinking. I am blessed, life is stressful. but I haven't been left alone in my struggles, I have a Dr who can make me better. Thank you Dr.Scott Malm A friend who let me unload my worries and frustrations on her. Thank you Melinda Saville. I am gaining a beautiful daughter, Samantha Doney, and I have good and honorable children, who, for the most part help with what ever I ask of them. And even though I am going to have to say good by to my dear brother in law for a while. and watch my sweet sister suffer this lose At least we had him in our lives and he has influenced us for good. I have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, I know where I came from before this life and I know where we all will be after this life. I have family and friends who love me in this world and in the world to come. and I have my Savior to give me strength and peace. I have sweet sisters in this gospel who I serve with who cut me a lot slack and give me the time away from my callings to do what is needed for my family. And I have a husband who works hard to take care of our family's needs and calls and checks on me to be sure I am making it home safe from town, because he knows I am not feeling well and am feeling like I am about to pop a cork. For all of you, I truly, AM BLESSED.

A day for my brother and my grandsons

Today started out with me watching little Bryan while Mathew and Alice went Elk Hunting, He is such a good baby to watch. we played together and he gave his grandma some very cute giggles. Then this afternoon after Matt and Alice got back I took some flowers up to the grave yard to put on Gabriel's grave for his mom and dad that Amy had put together but didn’t get time to come to Lava and put them on his grave herself. she did a very good job arranging them and they always brighten his grave when we put new flowers on it. I also put some fall leaves on Grant and JaLain’s graves while I was up there. so now the graves look nice for the fall.

After I left the Lava Cemetery I went to the McCammon (Norton Cemetery) to meat Melissa & Kenny and Shannon and Cody and their families.  Gary’s headstone was delivered today so I met them there when it was placed. It is a beautiful Headstone, Gary would be honored to have such a headstone. and most importantly it is a place that the kids can come and feel close to him. It truly represents Gary and the things he loved and is a beautiful monument to him.
