Grandmas weekend with the kids

 

Thursday I went to Pocatello to do my shopping and the kids (Katie, Madison, Jenna and Isaac) reminded me that they had not had their weekend with Grandma this summer yet.  So they came home with me on Thursday night.  Thursday we spent a quiet evening just playing around the farm, the kids played Twister, and then found Uncle Bens laser guns, so they spent a great deal of the evening outside playing laser tag. I also took them up to the stack yard and let them play on the hay bails, it must have been fun because they want to go play there again tomorrow.  here are pictures of last nights activities

The Girls always love picking raspberries.

I didn’t get pictures of them playing on the hay bails but I will tomorrow if we go play on them.  As for today. we started out with Pancakes and syrup.  After a late breakfast we went down town  and the kids played in the sunken gardens. Uncle Jared and cousin Audrina went with us. 

      

 

 

 

 

 

After we left the Sunken gardens we went and bought 5 blocks of Ice and went Ice blocking at the park by the church. the kids found ice blocking to be very fun. I even got in on the fun at the park, it has been a while since i have actually went ice blocking.

Some times the Blocks got away from us and sometimes we rode them clear to the bottom.

 

After Ice blocking for a while the kids were ready to play at the playground.

After we got home from the park we decided to play in the pool that Amy sent with the kids.  So uncle Jared aired it up and we spent the rest of the day in the pool

 

     

   

Notice Katie is playing around the pool without having a swimming suet on. Well this is what she did to Madison, twice.  Madison took it very well!

 So I decided to have some fun myself and help Katie get wet. She did not like me for it. but then she got me wet with the hose and we were even.

I even through myself in the pool to make her happy. It didn’t work. But she was ok after a while and after she hosed me down.

So that was our day today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
