Ben is made an Elder, Amy is getting ready to move & Bryan’s Blessing.

June was a very busy month. it had lots of good things and some really hard things in it. After Paytin was born I spent several days trying to help Amy pack up her house and put it in a storage unit because they had gotten some people who were interested in renting the house for a year – 18 months. so Amy was in the middle of getting packed. we were also keeping Audrina as much as we could to help Jared and Sativa so they could spend as much time with Paytin as possible.  I think Amy did most of the watching of Audrina and I only helped with the packing towards the end of the month for the most part.  You see my brother Gary was dyeing of lung cancer and was having some very bad days.  Oh I may not be explaining all of this very well. but let’s just say it was an emotional month. Also Ben was getting ready to leave for Basic Training in the Army National Guard.

Ben is made an Elder.

On the 12 of June We went to church with Ben & Amy and David’s family, since Ben was living with Amy and David. Ben was made an Elder that day. I was and still am so proud of him.  I know he will hold his priesthood sacred I wish I had a picture to put in here to mark the occasion. but I don’t. it was a very special day. Not only did we have our family together for the occasion Ben’s priest quorum ( Randy Banglen his leader, Gary and Dalen Davids, Justin Casperson, Taylor Kerny, Chyler Bullock,& Dillon Davids.) drove in to be with him and so did Bishop Spitzer. Then we all went back to Amy’s for dinner. It was nice to have all the guys together again one last time before they all went their separate ways.

Bryan’s Blessing Day

The next weekend on the 18th of June was little Bryan’s blessing. Matt and Alice chose this day to have Bryans blessing so Ben could stand in on the blessing as an Elder before he had to leave for Basic. it was a good day grandpa Grant Egley gave Bryan his blessing with Matt and Alice’s bishop standing in and with Chet, David and Ben also in the circle.  The blessing was done up Trail Creek in a cabin and not at church so Alice’s family would feel comfortable which is ok, Many baby’s are blessed at home or other places if there is a need. After the blessing we had a cook out and the men went 4 wheeler riding up the canyon.
