Last weekend Matt and Alice went to Utah and bought a 4 wheeler, Matt was very excited to show it off to his dad and brothers. I think Alice likes it to but I’m sure it’s Matt’s toy, anyway on the way home they stopped in Brigham City Utah at a little restaurant called Peach City, to have dinner I think. or maybe they just stopped for Ice Cream. But anyway, The best part is they brought me my favorite Ice Cream. Black Walnut. YUMMY. There are very few places you can get Black Walnut Ice Cream in the Western United States. I grew up going back east, Missouri and Kansas, to be exact, to visit my Grandmothers and my grandma Easter had a Black Walnut tree in her yard, and she would always make several kinds of homemade Ice Cream while we were there,one of which was always Black Walnut. We used an old hand churn, she had three of them, and we all took turns churning the Ice cream, we grandkids would start out churning and then as the Ice Cream got thicker our dads would take over and finish the churning. NOTHINGS BETTER THAN HOMAEDE BLACK WALNUT ICE CREAM, but now I’ll settle for boughten if I can get it, which isn’t very often. So a few year ago Amy’s friend took her to Peach City, and then Amy took me. Now I almost always stop for a Black Walnut milk shake. Anyway Matt and Alice were thoughtful enough to buy me a pint of my favorite Ice Cream and bring it clear from Brigham City in Matt’s lunch box, it was a little soft but it refroze very well and I enjoyed it immensely. I have very kind and Thoughtful children. don’t you think!
