I should have posted this two weeks ago but I am slow. I wanted to say congratulations to Ben. he has finished his last trimester of High School and is now a graduate. We are very proud of him for reaching his goal of graduating early.
Now he has moved in with his sister Amy and her family David and the kids. he immediately started applying for jobs and lots of them.
So here are a few pictures of his move. Ben didn’t take all of his stuff just what he needed to live with until June when he leaves for boot camp. we will put the rest of his stuff in storage box’s until he comes home and starts collage then he will take most of his stuff with him. I hope. I would like to remodel the bedrooms as they have been beaten battered and severely abused by one girl and 4 boys.
Now I have to mention why I am putting in a picture of a trash can. You see I am so happy to see that trash can go!!!!!!! But this little trash can has a history, When Amy was about 11 or 12 she wanted a trash can in her room, I really didn’t want her to have one because I didn’t think she would keep it cleaned out. So I told her if she wanted one she would have to make one because I wasn’t buying one. She looked all around and found this little box, she took some of my spray paint and painted it and she had a trash can. Well she used it all through high school and when she went to move out she was going to throw it away because it was just a junky little box and she no longer wanted it. but then Chet latched on to it and kept it until he went on his mission then he was going to throw it away but yep you guessed it Jared had to have it. he used it until he went to collage in Twin Falls and then Mathew wanted it. he used it until he moved out and then last but not least Ben latched onto it. I tried to hide it, throw it away, talk the boys out of wanting it, I offered them all a new nice looking trash can but no they had to have this one, Amy made it and each older brother had used it. It became a right of passage if you will, but it was the ugliest trash can in all of trash can history. It was beat up, the edges were all raveled it had been shot with a BB gun, and a Blow dart gun, but it was important because it was from an older sibling and Amy had made it. Well on Bens moving day he was ready to give it up. I was elated, the ugly little thing was out of my house. GOOD BY TRASH CAN, GLAD TO SEE YOU GO.
Just before the end of the second trimester Ben had a choir concert and then a week after he finished the trimester he came back for his last Band concert. so here are a few pictures of both concerts, some of his friends and his two favorite teachers, Mr. McKee, choir teacher, and Mr. Marshal, Band teacher. Ben loved band and choir. Oh and the Mar Val's traveled to Salt Lake City in December to sing on Temple square so I am including some of those pictures as well. Also there are some pictures of the Home Coming marching band Ben was in this last fall.
