Saying Thank you.

1-1 (Medium) copy

Thank you is a wonderful phrase.Use it. It will add stature to your soul. Never let a day go by without saying thank you to someone for something-----and especially to your Heavenly Father.

Marjorie Pay Hinckley.

And He who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious: and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold yea, more.

D&C 78:19

This last Christmas weJustin in his Christmas pj's from us,2010 gave our grandkids Pajamas or Pajama pants for the older girls along with a toy, I could tell they liked them because the older girls put them on and wore them home. at least Jenna and Madison did. I know this because i discovered their regular pants laying in the spare bedroom. then my daughter in law Stacy put this picture of Justin in his PJ’s with this statement on her Face Book Page.” Justin got these pj’s from grandma Egley and he said " oh I like my grandma!!!"  Is this not saying thank you? They all said the words on Christmas day but seeing them want to were them and Justin's statement were the greatest Thank You, I could have ever wished for. I was just thinking, Do I say Thank You to my father in Heaven in this same manor. For my scriptures, my ability to go to church, my calling. etc. etc. Am I truly thankful enough for these blessings to really use them. and perhaps Tell Father in Heaven . Oh I really  love my Father in Heaven!!!!! I think I should try harder to show my Gratitude.

On another not of Thank You, I want to share with you a beautiful hand made gift Grant and I received for Christmas from our Son and his wife and daughter.100_3018 (Medium)  Jared made this for us for Christmas. For those of you who are not LDS, it is a carving of the Salt Lake Temple, where our family was sealed for Time and all Eternity.  We truly love it so much. Thank you Kids. We will treasure it always.
