So this week has been a busy week but I don’t really know what I have accomplished. Its just one of those weeks that you run and run and run but its hard to say what you have really gotten done. So let see, I've talked to my kids on the phone this week. Visited with my friend Kim, she really is having a difficult time with her health and her boy’s , they are just teenage boy’s trying to find their way in the world, making some bad decisions and then they turn around and make some good decisions. It’s just very stressful for her and then the stress brings on seizures. Any way I visited with her this week. I called my brother Gary on Monday to see how he was doing, he is healing. Mellissa, Gary’s daughter called me on Tuesday. they got the final results back on Gary’s cancer, it is called Metastatic cancer , meaning that it has metastasized from some where else in his body. Gary’s is Kidney cancer that has spread to his Lungs, Diaphragm, and Esophagus that’s all we know of for now. About 10 years ago he had kidney cancer and had one of his kidneys removed. After he is healed they will be able to give him an injection and do a scan to see where else it has spread to. It’s not looking very good. I so want to give him strength and a testimony of his Heavenly Fathers love. but a testimony is not something you can give. it has to be gained through study, prayer, learning, asking Heavenly Father for it and working for it. All I can do is bear whiteness to him and be there for him.
Then I think it was Tuesday that I went in to Amy’s and helped her sort books for Gabe’s book drive. we got rid of some of the books that were way worn out. and counted the ones we had. on Tuesday we were up to just over 1200, now she has over 1600. Last night Amy had a book cleaning and sorting project at her ward church house. and many people in her ward came and helped clean and sort books into categories and label them. the labels say (from your friend Gabriel Grant Saville. 26 Jan 2009- 12 July 2010, if you want to read more about my story go to< da.savillefamily.blogspot.com>) On Wednesday of next week on Gabe’s birthday I will go with Amy and David and the kids and help them take the books up to the hospital and give out some to the children that are there on that day. I think we are taking about 800 to Portinuf Medical Center and then we will take some to Blackfoot Hospital and some to Idaho Falls Hospital. The books will be given to kids in the hospital through out the year to take home.
Wednesday I went to the Family History Center and worked all afternoon until 4:30pm. I usually work on my own family history because we don’t get patrons very often. but we did have one patron this last week, so I was able to help her a little.
Thursday was my day to go to town and get grocery’s and do my shopping. I spent the day with Amy which was nice. we did my running around that had to be done, and we had a mirror put on the back of the Temple carving that Jared and Sativa gave us for Christmas. it is beautiful. I picked out some fabric to go behind a crochet doily that says Bless our home that Stacy gave me years ago. so I can get it framed and hung on the wall. so I am excited about that. Yesterday was Friday and Ben and I just hung out together, talked about his future and did some much needed house cleaning. I also worked on sorting my photographs so I can get them put away in order of years so we can always find them easily.
That’s how my week has went. Today I’m not sure what I will be doing, Grant is out dozing the road so we can get in and out of the lane. and I will probably work on my photos some more. I’ll be glad to get that project finished.
